The goal of my editing service is to bring manuscripts up to the point that they can be submitted in the best shape possible. The extent of editing that will be required will differ based on my evaluation of a manuscript. My services go beyond basic proofreading, ensuring that there is a common voice throughout despite multiple authors’ contributions, that scientific terms and experimental groups are defined and used consistently, and to ensure overall flow and readability.
My process for a given project is for you to send me your full manuscript for evaluation, from which I will then estimate the level of copyediting required. Next, I will send you an editing agreement with an estimated quote, which I will have signed and dated. Once this document is signed, dated, and sent back to me, I will begin editing. My edits will typically be completed within one week.
